Cefpodoxime Proxetil Dry Suspension (50mg) of SSY Group Granted Approval

On June 15, the Class 3 chemical drug Cefpodoxime Proxetil Dry Suspension (50mg) independently developed by SSY Group obtained the production registration approval issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), and was deemed to have passed the Consistency Evaluation of Quality and Efficacy of Generic Drugs. Since the beginning of this year, the Group has acquired approvals for 45 new pharmaceutical products. To date, a total of 188 product varieties and 250 specifications under the Group have passed or been deemed to pass the generic drug consistency evaluation.

This product is indicated for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including upper respiratory tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, uncomplicated urinary tract infections, uncomplicated skin and skin soft tissue infections, acute uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis, as well as proctitis induced by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
